The Beach at Hillside

Though Grand Beach is better known in Manitoba as one of the top 10 beaches in North America, I find the beach at Hillside to be a lot nicer. It is quieter, more family friendly, but does not have the same kind of services available at Grand Beach.

The beach is about 2 ½ miles long from the trailor court to the point where the lagoon connects to the lake. The sand is white and very fine and rivals that of most Caribbean resorts.

Usually the beach is almost totally empty of people. Only on long week-ends and holidays does it fill up some more. It never becomes as crowded as the boardwalk at Grand Beach though.
