The Idle Thyme Restaurant is a licensed restaurant on Traverse Bay Corner, where Highway 11 branches off of Highway 59 to go on towards Pine Falls and Lac DuBonnet. At Idle Thyme they make everything from scratch. Handmade burger patties, home cut French fries, soup made from scratch daily. We bake our own pies and muffins as well. We cater to vegetarians and celiac customers.

The Hillside Beach Store

Along with selling groceries, the store also has a snack bar that serves burgers, fries, pizzas, Salisbury Steaks and drinks.

The Birchwood Motor Hotel

The Birchwood Motor Hotel is situated on Hwy 59 half way between Traverse Bay Corner and Hillside Beach Road.

They have a dining room that serves standard Canadian food and a salad bar in the summer months.

The bar will serve snacks, burgers and hotdogs after hours. Provided their barbecue isn't broken again.
